Description
How and why to use Floralife Quickdip.
Floralife® Quick Dip is a ready-to-use, instant hydrating treatment designed to increase water uptake in cut flowers, reducing bent necks and stem blockages. It is particularly effective for dry-packed, dehydrated, or woody stems like roses, gerbera, and hydrangea.
Quick Dip Instructions (Step-by-Step)
- Prepare the Container: Pour approximately 1 to 2 inches (3–6 cm) of Quick Dip into a clean, non-metallic (glass or plastic) shallow container.
- Re-cut Stems: Using a clean, sharp knife or cutter, remove 1 inch (3 cm) from the bottom of the stems to ensure maximum absorption.
- Dip: Immerse the stem ends into the solution for 1 to 3 seconds. Do not leave stems in the solution for extended periods, as this can cause tissue discoloration.
- Place in Food: Immediately place the treated flowers into a bucket or vase containing properly mixed FloraLife® flower food solution.
